The adults had a great time too!

Distinguished Speaker Series - Zalem Mlotek - November 11, 2018
This program was dedicated to the Memory and Music of our beloved Hazzan Ilan Mamber.
During this program, Zalmen Mlotek, the Artistic Director and Conductor for the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbeine, entertained us with stories about the history of Yiddish music. He regaled us with samples of songs and pieces from the Yiddish theater. The audience was mesmerized by the breadth of his repertoire! At one point, he invited Cantor Faith Steinsnyder and Gale Bindelglass to come up and join him in singing Tumbalalaika.
Many thanks to the cooking committee for their wonderful spread of bagels, fish, homemade kugels, homemade cakes and fruit which everyone enjoyed immensely!
