The congregants at Temple Beth Rishon share a wide variety of interests and talents. Check this page for leisure outings with other TBR members like a happy hour for drinks and appetizers to get acquainted with other temple members, Yiddish theater performances, musical concert excursions, our monthly reading group, knitting classes or lunch clubs.
Every couple of months, TBR hosts a happy hour from 6:30PM to 8:00PM at Blue Moon Mexican Cafe in Wyckoff Boulder Run Shopping Mall. Drinks and appetizers are on the temple's tab. It's a great way to unwind and laugh with friends or create new temple relationships. The next event will take place on November 14, 2017.

Laugh, Learn & Linger is sponsored by Sisterhood for women who enjoy getting together at community venues, whether it is for a wine tasting, an exercise class, a food demonstration or a discussion about issues affecting the lives of women, these events are always fun and enjoyable. Our next event will be a Painting Party DATE TO BE DECIDED.
ROMEO (Retired Old Men Eating Out) meets weekly for lunch at various local restaurants on Thursdays from 12:30 to almost 2:00 PM.
We are an informal group which meets for food and conversation. Lunches are modestly priced and each person is responsible for his own bill. There are no dues. Our conversations, interests, and political views run the gamut. Everyone has his own field of expertise and has interesting information to impart. so you are sure to learn something new every week.
Actually, not all of us are retired nor “old” nor temple members. All who wish to join are welcome. Weekly attendance is voluntary, with 6-10 generally participating on any given week. If you are interested in joining us, even as a trial, please contact Marty Smithline or call him at 201-891-3645.
