Each gift to Temple Beth Rishon makes possible all that we do today and ensures an even more promising tomorrow. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Tzedakah is often translated from Hebrew to mean “charity,” but its true meaning is rooted in the obligation to justice and righteousness. Each individual act of tzedakah expresses a sacred and enduring Jewish value by connecting us through the continuous pursuit to better our world overall and more specifically, to enhance our Temple Beth Rishon community.

Like any thriving religious or cultural institution, we rely on the generosity of our members to help bridge the financial gap between our operating expenses and what we receive in membership dues.  Member contributions allow us to maintain our commitment to Jewish living by implementing excellent educational programs, employing devoted and skilled clergy and professional staff, offering extensive cultural and social programs and maintaining our beautiful facilities.

There are multiple giving opportunities to suit everyone’s comfort level.  We encourage you to contribute what you can throughout the year via one of these choices. In addition, we optimistically anticipate your support in one of our major Annual Fundraising campaigns!

Annual opportunities to participate in tzedakah during the High Holidays include our Kol Nidre appeal, participation in the Book of Remembrance by placing an entry in memory of a loved one and ordering a Yahrzeit plaque for the memorial wall inside the Kaufman sanctuary.
