For the final Youth Group message of this school year, it is only appropriate to dedicate this month’s article to all the amazing Youth Group participants and leaders. You have made this an unforgettable year filled with amusement and memories.
I have had the pleasure to work with a group of fine young leaders whose commitment and assistance I greatly cherish: Mackenzie Cohen, Alex Gitkin, Sophie Greene, Samantha Jankowitz, Danny Klyde, Danielle Perl, Samantha Perl, Lauren Scheff, Alexa Schwartz, Melanie Zenn, Danielle Ziegelheim. You have been active in TBR life for years and I want you to know how appreciative we all are to have you involved in the family. I encourage you to continue to mentor others throughout your lives. Take what you have learned being a YG leader and run with it! Whether it was how to work as a team, working with young children or watching how to run and organize a Youth Group weekly meeting, take these little moments and apply them in any way you can.
To my Youth Group participants, I LOVE YOU TO PIECES!!!! I look forward to seeing your smiling faces every week. I hope you had an enjoyable time learning and growing throughout the year and I can’t wait to see you again in the fall for more fun!
I would like to thank Rabbi Emert, Cantor Mamber, Rabbi Olshansky, Debby Landesman, Ian Zimmerman, Kris Len, Lisa Milowsky, Nancy Wellington, and the custodial staff for their support and a special thank you to all of the wonderful contributors from our congregation.
So, with sleep-away camp and summer vacations just around the corner, get ready to continue the fun, be safe, and remember to always, laugh, smile, and enjoy life! See you in September!
