A wedding, a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, a baby naming, a bris…These holy and spiritual life cycle events become more sanctified when celebrated in a synagogue.
Temple Beth Rishon is an unaffiliated congregation with more than 500 families. Our contemporary one-story building, situated on a partially wooded property has a picturesque pond in the rear. The facility provides ample access and facilities for handicapped guests.
We are conveniently located off major roads and are only 40 minutes from New York City.
We offer three beautiful venues for your celebration:
♦The spacious, light-filled Kaufman Sanctuary, featuring magnificent stained-glass windows.
♦The versatile Schwartz Ballroom, an elegant space that can be customized to fit both small and large parties.
♦The striking Bedrin Lobby, perfect for cocktail parties and receptions.
Both the sanctuary and the ballroom were completely renovated and modernized in 2002. We hold only one function at any time in the Temple, guaranteeing you privacy and security. Our events range from a casual afternoon luncheon to an elegant evening dinner dance.
Temple Beth Rishon is available for receptions on Saturday afternoon (after 1 pm), Saturday evening and all day Sunday. Our clergy can officiate at most life cycle events. Our Rabbi must approve the use of other clergy in the Temple.
